When extensive dental care is necessary or when dental insurance is involved, financial arrangements can be made with our office.
For patients who prefer to spread the cost of treatment over time, we offer financing through CareCredit — a healthcare credit card designed specifically for medical and dental expenses.
CareCredit offers flexible payment plans, including promotional periods with no interest if paid in full within the promotional timeframe. It can be used for any dental service, from routine cleanings to cosmetic dentistry to implants and full mouth reconstruction.
Applying is quick and can be done online or in our office. Many patients are approved within minutes.

For larger cases — smile makeovers, full mouth reconstruction, implant-supported dentures — the treatment itself is naturally phased over multiple appointments and often several months. This phased approach has a practical financial benefit: the cost is divided across the stages of treatment rather than being due all at once.
For example, in an implant case, the extraction and bone grafting phase is a separate cost from the implant placement phase, which is separate from the final restoration phase. Each stage is spaced months apart, allowing the financial commitment to be spread over the treatment timeline.
Dr. Kriston is also transparent about presenting options at every budget level. When there are multiple approaches to solving a dental problem — from the most conservative to the most comprehensive — he explains the advantages, limitations, and costs of each so you can make an informed decision that fits your life.
Our office will prepare and submit all necessary insurance forms on your behalf. However, please understand that your insurance policy is an agreement between you and your insurance company — not between your insurance company and our office. We cannot guarantee any estimated coverage, but we will do our best to help you receive your maximum benefits. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for your total obligation should your insurance benefits result in less coverage than anticipated.
Our office works with any dental insurance plan that allows you to choose your own dentist. While we are not participating members of any PPO plans, we are able to submit your claims on your behalf and maximize your insurance benefits whenever possible.
Please note that HMO plans require treatment within a specific network, so those plans generally cannot be used in our office.

Cosmetic dental procedures are generally not covered by most dental insurance policies. However, partial benefits are often available when the teeth being treated are broken, decayed, or have existing dental restorations such as fillings, bonding, or crowns.
Dr. Kriston and his team will review your specific situation and let you know if any portion of your cosmetic treatment may be covered by your plan.
Dental care is an investment — in your health, your appearance, your comfort, and your confidence. And like most investments, the earlier you make it, the greater the return.
A routine cleaning and exam costs a fraction of the root canal and crown that a missed cavity can become. A bone graft at the time of extraction costs a fraction of the ridge reconstruction needed if the bone is allowed to resorb. A night guard costs a fraction of the crowns and veneers needed to restore teeth destroyed by grinding.
Prevention is always the least expensive option. But when treatment is needed, the sooner it’s addressed, the simpler, less invasive, and less costly it tends to be.
We never want finances to prevent you from getting the care you need. If cost is a concern, please talk to us. Between insurance benefits, CareCredit financing, phased treatment planning, and honest conversations about treatment options at different investment levels, there is almost always a path forward.

If you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. This courtesy allows us to offer the reserved time to another patient in need of care. Appointments cancelled without 24 hours’ notice will, regrettably, result in a cancellation fee.

He is truly concerned with the health and function of your teeth and gums, and is extremely skilled to implement great solutions. Would highly recommend.
I had my first visit with Dr. Kriston and had the best experience in a dental office, by far. I was looking for a dentist to revamp my smile and a friend recommended Dr. Kriston. Dr. Kriston spent a lot of time listening to my vision and together we came up with a plan for my smile that I'm very happy with. Everyone in the office was friendly, helpful and welcoming.
